Special Events - Atticus Books & Teahouse

Atticus is more than a tearoom, it's also a community hotspot. We stage productions for plays, special guest artists, and independent films. These are usually weekend performances and always completely sell out! It's a wonderful way to enjoy an evening in an intimate, small-venue setting. There's even a special menu created just for these occasions. On Saturday afternoons you'll often find a local musician sitting in our corner stage serenading you while you're enjoying tea, conversation or a great book.

We do parties for special occasions too. Come by or call for info. With just 24-hour advance notice, we can prepare high tea featuring tea sandwiches, fruit, scones, cheese and dessert for your birthday party, bridal shower, club get-together or meeting. Children (and the child in each of us) enjoy the pomp and ceremony of a real tea party. Young gentlemen included. Ever hear the expression, "Didn't your Mother ever teach you any manners?"
